UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024 –
The UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024 has been declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who took the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam can view their results on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
This year, the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examinations 2024 were held nationwide on June 16 at multiple exam centers. More than 1.34 million candidates participated in the exam, which included sessions on General Studies and the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT).
However the vacancies were significantly reduced this year this year. Earlier they were announced that there are total of 150 vacancies for IFoS and for CSE it is 1056.
What were the topics asked in UPSC Prelims examination –
General Studies (Paper I) included Indian polity, Geography, History, Indian economy, Science and Technology, Environment and Ecology, and International relations. Civil Services Aptitude Test (Paper 2) included reasoning and analytical questions, reading comprehension questions, and decision-making questions.
The exam consisted of multiple-choice questions with four options, totaling 400 marks. Candidates who pass will qualify for the next stage, the UPSC Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2024, followed by an Interview or Personality Test.
How to check the Result of UPSC CSE Prelims Results 2024?
- Goto the Official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in
- Click on the “UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Result 2024” link available on the homepage,
- After accessing the website, you’ll need to input your UPSC CSE Roll Number or Registration Number, along with your Date of Birth (DOB).
- Once you click “Submit” the results will appear on your screen.
- You can then view and download the UPSC CSE Prelims Results 2024.
Criteria for passing the UPSC Prelims Examination –
Aspirants need atleast 33% minimum percentage in Paper 1 & Paper 2
